METRICS THAT MATTER ANALYTICS TO MEASURE ASTD ROI NETWORK PROGRAMS
KnowledgeAdvisors Metrics that Matter becomes the learning analytics provider to the American Society of Training and Development for ROI Programs
CHICAGO, IL. [July 27, 2004], KnowledgeAdvisors, Inc. announces that it has formed a partnership with the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) to be the official evaluation provider for the ASTD ROI Network Certificate programs and ASTD ROI Network conferences. ASTD will use KnowledgeAdvisors Metrics that Matter technology to automate the process of analyzing participants’ performance at the end of the course or conference and again several months later when participants return to their jobs. Knowledge Advisors will provide ASTD with tools to link training to participants’ business results.

Metrics that Matter is a learning analytics technology that helps organizations understand how to better train and develop employees, partners and customers. The Metrics that Matter™ proprietary technology has been adopted by several industry leaders. A benchmarking database and the linkage to learning measurement experts like Dr. Donald Kirkpatrick and Dr. Jack Phillips have increased the technology’s presence as the standard in corporate learning measurement.
The analysis between the models was performed by KnowledgeAdvisors experts in data analysis but then validated by a third party expert, Dr. Shreya Sarkar-Barney, who holds advanced degrees in statistics and organizational psychology and is an expert on the analysis of learning measurement data. “KnowledgeAdvisors Human Capital model and their Metrics that Matter™ technology provide a person in a learning role within the business world a practical and reasonable method of determining the value of training.
