KnowledgeAdvisors Adds Bersin & Associates Model

KnowledgeAdvisors adds Bersin & Associates Measurement Framework to the Metrics that Matter® Offering and Adds Industry Analyst Josh Bersin to its Distinguished Advisory Board

Chicago, IL [February 23, 2009] – KnowledgeAdvisors, Inc. announced today that it will add Bersin & Associates’ High-Impact Measurement Framework to its learning & talent measurement technology Metrics that Matter. Josh Bersin, president of Bersin & Associates, a leading research and advisory firm focusing on enterprise learning, talent management, and talent acquisition, will also join the KnowledgeAdvisors advisory board.

The High-Impact Measurement Framework, based upon years of research and executive interviews, is structured around the consistent measurement of nine driving forces: 1) satisfaction; 2) learning; 3) adoption; 4) utility; 5) efficiency; 6) alignment 7) attainment of customer objectives; 8) individual performance and 9) organizational performance.

KnowledgeAdvisors and Bersin & Associates collaborated to update respondent feedback forms (or evaluations) to include to the Bersin & Associates’ model. This expansion of the evaluation and measurement process, which already includes linkage to the Kirkpatrick Four Levels model, the Phillips ROI Process Model, and the Brinkerhoff Success Case Method of Evaluation, provides joint Bersin & KnowledgeAdvisors clients with the ability to dive deeper into understanding the impact learning has on their organization.

“KnowledgeAdvisors has prided itself on wrapping industry-accepted and world-class measurement methodology into the Metrics that Matter technology. The Impact Measurement Model has gained momentum in the market for this effort to make sense for KnowledgeAdvisors, Bersin, and our mutual customers,” cited Kent Barnett, CEO of KnowledgeAdvisors.

“The High-Impact Measurement Framework was developed to complement existing models and offer practical guidelines for measuring learning results in ways that are meaningful to business executives. Our membership has requested a technology tool that can make the model come alive for real-time usage. Given KnowledgeAdvisors’ expertise in learning metrics and technology tools, the company is the perfect partner for our model,” said Bersin.

Bersin joins distinguished experts Robert Brinkerhoff, Donald Kirkpatrick, and Jack Phillips on the KnowledgeAdvisors Advisory Board, which is dedicated to shaping the company’s offerings to meet market demand for learning and talent measurement solutions.
