Gary S. Becker, Ph.D., is University Professor at the University of Chicago and the 1992 winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics. Among his many distinguished accomplishments, Dr. Becker is a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University and is the author of many books, including Human Capital, 1993 and most recently Social Economics, 2001.
