Company Overview: Since 1982, New Horizons Computer Learning Centers has grown to become the largest independent IT training company worldwide. They offer more courses, at more times and in more locations than any other company in the computer training industry.
Description of Learning Program: New Horizons of Hawaii is a certified Cisco and Microsoft training center. They train thousands of individuals each year on IT technologies and applications training programs. New Horizons Hawaii was asked by a significant contractor to provide independent evaluation of the quality of its training in the due diligence of partnering with them on a major opportunity. New Horizons of Hawaii relied on Knowledge Advisors and Metrics that Matter® to demonstrate its proven capability and advanced the partnership forward.
Measurement Approach: New Horizons of Hawaii has a rigorous approach to measure a balanced scorecard of learning metrics such as satisfaction, effectiveness, job impact, linkage to business results and return on investment (ROI). For all training New Horizons Hawaii deploys a practical, scaleable and repeatable solution, via Metrics that Matter®. New Horizons Hawaii uses a post-event evaluation to gather predictors of job impact and business results. A few months later, participants receive a follow-up evaluation to “true up” the forecast and provide data related to the actual job impact, business results and ROI.
